About Us
Tate Civil focuses on construction of commercial and residential projects throughout the Roaring Fork Valley. Building homes and renovations has been our core service. With over 10 years of experience, we have grown from a small dirt moving company to a full-scale excavating and general contracting. We pride ourselves on providing dependable, quality service to our clients and have built strong relationships with subcontractors, vendors, as well as local businesses in the area.

Our Story
Raised in Glenwood Springs, Tate Fairbanks spent his time enjoying everything the Roaring Fork Valley has to offer. In 2018 he moved back after 12 years on the front range expanding his professional career working for large-scale structural engineering firms such as Amec Foster Wheeler (Now Wood), Wilson & Company as well as the Colorado Department of Transportation. In 2018 he started Tate Civil to help manage and operate excavation and general contracting operations. ​​
Performing earthwork, civil services, general contractor services throughout the Roaring Fork Valley, Tate Civil continues to grow due to the solid foundation of lasting relationships with trade partners, clients and vendors.
